Broken hearts
Losing faith in your allies
Not knowing your fate
Death around every corner

Gas seeping in
Flustering for dear life
Watching others suffer
The final shot
Rapid sounds of droping bombs

Men running, running
To an endless dark death
For freedom, for liberty, for life
Wanting, wishinf for an end
Back to trenches

Rats, lice are crawling to no end
Friend or Foe?
My wife, my kids
Peace, love,and resolution
Why are we here?

what are we fighting for?

I want to leave
But no I must fight on!!
For the people
For me...
For life.
